Well here I am again. Late to the party. Well... more like gathering really. Maybe not even that, perhaps light social is a better term. Well the header says it, really. Microsoft is rolling out a major update in October and it's going to be on users to make sure they have enough hard drive space to install it. From what I read, the previous April update was around 16GB for the 32 bit version of Windows and 20GB for the 64bit version. So with that in mind it's probably a good idea that you make sure to clear some space on the ol' boot drive ASAP. Read more
Yeah we haven't written anything new since before last week. Hopefully Cody will write something about Tomb Raider, I know he's got that. I do think Greywolfe has something coming soon. I have nothing because I've stopped all spending on games in order to begin purchasing my new PC parts.
I just got my case yesterday. Fractal Design, Define R6 in gunmetal. Love it. Now I'm impatient and I really want to buy the rest of the list. But I have to be responsible and "pay bills" and "buy food" and other things less important than building a new PC, says my brain. But I'm keeping an eye on sales and it looks like I'll be able to save myself even more money as I go along. So I'm happy. Read more
Well I've been putting together a parts list for a new PC build and it seems like I can do it for a lot less than I was figuring I'd have to spend. I won't need a new GPU right away because I won't be getting a new monitor right away for higher resolution. So that will save some money up front. I've also got the hard drives I need already so I don't need to buy those. But I'm going to need a new case, CPU, motherboard, PSU, and RAM. After that, I can work toward a GPU and monitor separately to make the whole project more affordable. Read more

On top of all this, there’s the problem of “Danny Don’t You Know.”
To put this into perspective, I want to be quite clear that I’m on board with that song. So on board, in fact, that I think it’s the VERY best song they’ve ever done before. There’s such a quiet sincerity that flows from the lyrics to the music to the tone of the song that it feels sort of oddly out of place with the rest of the album. It’s oddly difficult to marry this quiet, sincere side of the band to the prior side, which is mainly about sex and drugs and rock and roll and hilarious one-liners.
Last night was a birthday party. Hopefully someone with their head screwed on straight will write a better WRUP and replace this one...
I might be getting Camaro to rebuild so that's potentially exciting. Gonna go look at it today.
