WRUP-ish

Well here I am again. Late to the party. Well... more like gathering really. Maybe not even that, perhaps light social is a better term. Or maybe it's just a thinly disguised attempt at trying to think of something to write in this WRUP but it's not happening because not much is going on that I want to talk about. You don't know.

Oh hey! I did just read something about Cyberpunk 2077 having a release in 2019. So that's cool if it doesn't turn out to be completely false. Which it might because CDPRed have already said it would likely be 2020. Ehhh -grains of salt and all that.

What's Happenin' Cap'n?

AJ: So even though I bought Alien: Isolation like two years ago, I’d been coming up with all kinds of excuses not to play it because, truth be told, I’ve always been a bit of a coward when it comes to those movies. Well, I finally worked up the testicular fortitude to give it a go earlier this week and holy crap is that game atmospheric! They really nailed the look and feel of the movie(s). And it was every bit as terrifying as I had feared! I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest so many times and I’m not even very far in yet. I’ve played it a couple nights since and it hasn’t gotten any less frightening. I’m trying to work up the nerve to go back for more this weekend. Wish me luck!

Scroo: I it's going to be mostly work for me this weekend. But I should have some time in the evenings for a little Vermintide 2. I also think there's some seasonal event stuff coming to Monster Hunter World on PC. The same event stuff that's been on the console versions already. And I'll be researching more PC parts for the new build in whatever free time I've got left.

Yoda: Restarted Shadow of the Tomb Raider on a lower difficulty, mainly because I was dying too much and on the highest you only respawn at camps. So now I'm enjoying their incredibly good checkpoint system and faster load times since they don't have to reload an earlier area :p

Greywolfe: So, i'm working my way through book of unwritten tales, but i've also just had the itch to card game again, so i've picked up all those games once more [that means eternal, spellweaver and magic arena, this go-round.] - once i've wound down book of unwritten tales, i'm going to have to think of what to play next. i have no idea at this point, though and i'm not going to let it worry me, yet.
