Quantum Break Delayed into 2016

Remedy's Quantum Break was originally set to launch sometime in 2015, but the Microsoft published game has been delayed to 2016. Read on to find out what happened.
The official line starts off with a non-sequitur, “With so many Xbox One games launching this year, moving Quantum Break to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP", but reading further down the blog post on Remedy's site indicates that the game is receiving an added layer of polish and tweaking.

Upcoming Nintendo Indies

Lots of indie love during the Nintendo Direct.

First off: Adventures of Pip, a puzzle platformer about a shape-shifting pixel. And it even has a skeleton queen. (May)

Octodad gets ported to the WiiU. No word on exclusive features. (Summer)

Mutant Mudds gets Super Challenge(ing), will be cross-buy between Wii U and 3DS (didn’t even knew Nintendo does this) and if you already own the previous version of the game, you get a loyalty discount. (June)

Don’t Starve also gets a port to the Wii U, offering exclusive gamepad features (Map and fast access to your inventory). Not sold? Then how about the fact, that every purchase gets a second copy that can be gifted to a friend? (May)

Other upcoming Wii U indies in one unformatted, uninformative and hard to read list:
forma.8, Dementium: Remastered, Affordable Space Adventures, Starwhal, Never Alone, Ninja Pizza Girl, Antipole DX, Life of Pixel, Badland: GOTY Edition, Slain!, Runbow, Back to Bed, Space Hulk, Race the Sun, Dooors, Dot Arcade, Swords & Soldiers 2, Lionel City Builder 3D: Rise of the Rails, Toto Temple Deluxe, The Bridge, Shutshimi, Nova-111, Windup Knight 2

PSA: Dragon Age: Inquisition Free Trial

Own an Xbox One and have a Live Gold membership?  Don't own BioWare's Dragon Age: Inquisition but have been dying to check it out?  You're in luck, because right now you can head over to the Xbox Store and download a free trial that will last until March 16th, which means you have almost a week to explore the world of Thedas.  If you're collecting Achievements, you'll be happy to know that they're enabled and you'll be able to keep them even if you don't purchase the game.  What have you got to lose?  Only yourself... in the vast world and deep story.

Uncharted 4 isn’t coming out this year

Neil Druckmann just made a post over on PSBlog stating, definitively, that Uncharted 4 will come out next spring. He's aware that "the extra wait will be excruciating". While I don't have too much to add to the matter, I can't say that this surprised me at all. The timing isn't a coincidence either. The Order didn't exactly set the world on fire and with so many games coming out half-cocked last fall, it is safe to say that Naughty Dog isn't willing to leave anything to chance and are making their case for more time early (rather than waiting). Good for you Sony and Naughty Dog. The newest industry trend is the delay (j/k).
