Hey everyone, it's that guy I am again with some WRUP.
It's me, Scrooloose.
I'm not seeing much in the way of local COVID updates. Which I mean, great I guess. No news is good news... that kind of thing. Everyone still seems to be paying attention around here and masking up when they go out. Yosemite is open again but it takes an inexpensive permit to get in, and there's a limited amount of vehicles allowed to enter, and you must use that permit on the day of purchase. It's good for seven days though just like the normal entry tag. So if you're looking to head to the park do your research first or you'll get turned away whether you've paid or not.
Game news?
EA has done something unexpected and released a bunch of titles to Steam and the upcoming Star Wars: Squadrons will release on Steam and EPIC Games Store. Titanfall 2 is one of the very good offerings on Steam among others. I highly recommend the campaign there. In terms of Star Wars: Squadrons EA says there will be no microtransactions in the game. Not to mention it actually looks fairly cool.
Torchlight 3 has had an early access launch that has gone less than smoothly. Promises are being made to smooth things out as quickly as possible. It's being developed by Echtra Games and published by Perfect World. I won't be playing the early access version but I am curious to see where the game may end up seeing as how Runic Games is gone now. I'm glad someone picked it up.
I guess that's kind of it today.
What's everyone doing this weekend?
AJ: Vs Baseball and Team Sonic Racing.
Tru: I'll be playing more Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. It's been fun, a bit wonky for an RPG at times, but fun. More Warframe, I finally have a good Warframe that allows me to Edilon Hunt (kinda like Raids). More Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well.
Scroo: Still hanging out in SnowRunner mostly. I have another video in the works for that. I also picked up Deep Rock Galactic so I'll be playing that with friends as much as possible. Outside of games I have to start tearing down the top side of an engine so I can replace the intake manifold. It's got a good sized crack that's spewing water and that's no good at all.
Greywolfe: i got my sleep pattern under control and that meant i was going to do some gaming, then a buddy had a bit of a meltdown and i spent /several/ hours just hanging out with them and getting them to a point where they could sleep and not be completely anxious. so my sleep pattern is a little fubar'd again.
