What's up everyone? Scrooloose here to tell you all about my #4if. This is in fact my first venture in to the #4if and I hope it'll be a fun one. I've chosen some potentially cool titles so here we go...
A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda:
-This is a game I got back in 2012 for my birthday. Thanks to Cody Hall for that. I chose this one because I loved Mega Man back in my childhood and that's pretty much what A.R.E.S. is. Just a fun side scrolling platformer shooter. I did start this one back when I got it but was soon distracted by a 4 week cruise around the South Pacific, and I never got back to playing it [Let me just adjust my monocle here] I'm looking forward to checking it out again. War for the Overworld:
-This one's a Christmas present from my Sister. Any of you ever play Bullfrog's Dungeon Keeper? Well, War for the Overworld is a nearly direct copy of that game. In fact if I'm not mistaken it was made after Bullfrog had to cancel Dungeon Keeper 3 when EA bought them up. Also I believe it's been done with the devs from Bullfrog's blessing. It's good to be bad. Watch this trailer if you dare
Velvet Assassin:
-I enjoy a good stealth title, and hopefully this one will provide a good "Sneaky McStabbs" kind of time. And by the way another Christmas present from my Sister this year. Feeling the theme here yet? This one was released in '09 and has a lot of really mixed reviews. Folks talking about broken mechanics and shaky story. But I tend to be the type that wants to experience it for myself and not just take everyone else's word. Could be cool, could suck a pile of monkey nuts, who knows? I will, when I'm done playing it. A Story About My Uncle:
-Another birthday present, this time from Dr. S, and it looks really intriguing. First person puzzley looking platformer with a cool environment. Looks fun and I'm excited to get in to it. A story about this trailer
That's my #4if. I look forward to getting back to everyone about how great, or not great, these titles are based on correct statements I'll make about them that most people will assume are 'opinions'. Silly people :P
