New games coming soon. Starting to get excited. Also this marks the end of #4if. Keep an eye out for the guys' post action posts.
Doom: Eternal is on the way soon. Division 2 has a new expac coming. Half Life: Alyx for those with VR. Control has some DLC on the way. A new Ori game is coming. All this is happening in March, plus tons more that I'm not listing.
On a different subject -Anthem had a birthday and is promising what few it has left a complete overhaul to make something good out of it. On the one hand I want to say that I like that Anthem isn't being abandoned. On the other I kind of feel like this whole 'release an incomplete, broken title and promise a roadmap' garbage is the new precedent. Not that broken day one releases haven't been a thing for a long time now. Just that it's gone even further at this point. Breaking Point is supposed to be getting the same treatment. I don't love it. But it's game politics and meeting deadlines to please investors and keep the funding coming in that's the major cause of this nonsense, I think.
Anyway...
Game, guys?
Greywolfe: well, i decided to try secret of mana and i'm half way through it, i think? it has some terrible design decisions and i don't like those, but then it has such great sprite work and some good music and those things don't /quite/ make up for the silly way the game is sometimes set up. oh well. other than that. winding down epistory for #4if - i'm not going to get 4/4, but i /might/ get 3/4 and i'm happy with that.
AJ: Burnout: Revenge, Assassin’s Creed II, and Super Mario 3D World.
Yoda: Mostly a board game weekend this go around
Scroo: Wolcen for me still but, I'm also being sidetracked by the strangely entertaining, Farming Simulator 2019. In fact, I need to get back to harvesting potatoes...
