Still WRUPing, still not dead… just lazy

Turns out that the PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5 is still the ultimate one. Not because the console versions have performance issues or look much worse (they don’t), but because you can do this on a PC

Anyway, what is everybody playing this weekend?

  • Dante: Hearthstone, TF2 and Twisted Metal.
  • Thomas (Twitter): Unless I decide to do some streaming for Twinstiq on Sunday, I’ll probably play more MGS and Mad Max. Those two games offer enough “content” (if you can call “open world busy work” content) to get me through the next few months. Also bought a beer brewery management game for my phone, so, yeah…
  • Greywolfe (Twitter, YouTube): i will be going to a gaming expo with a buddy.  it'll be very low key.  i dunno how much /actual/ gaming i'll be doing otherwise, but i'm going to take my netbook with me and cram some old games on it and see how i go.
  • Tisnight (Twitch): Going to be working a bit this weekend on writing out my gaming experiences from fan expo, also going to be continuing Pokemon alpha sapphire
  • Yoda0VGs (Twitter): Still hooked on Rocket League. But I will be playing quite a bit of mad max as well. Witness!!!!
  • Andrew (Late to the party): I don't know what (if any) games I will be playing this weekend. My in-laws have been staying with us and I've had to be a "good host". Between that and work I haven't had much chance to sneak away. I did just acquire Ryse for $10 on the Humble Store so I may give that a shot if I can find the time.

Here lately I’ve been playing nothing but Rage, and while I’m still enjoying the game, I need to get something else started to break up the monotony. Played around a little with Ground Zeroes on the X1, but either it’s not for me or it’s not what I’m in the mood for. I think it’s time to get some Forced Unleashed action going on, and I might tackle the third episode of Life Is Strange while I’m at it.

Also, my blu-ray of Mad Max: Fury Road should arrive tomorrow and I’ll definitely be breaking off a couple of hours to relive that.

Rage, got a bad wrap for all the texture issues it had at release. I never had the problem myself but I remember seeing screens of like a 3 inch box that was visible and the rest of the screen was popping in over time. But it was a good game, a little short, maybe a little too linear, I felt like there could have much more story told but it was really enjoyable.

Rocket League for me, addicted. Plus I’m still working on Fallout New Vegas. Thinking about picking up Path of Exile again, been a good long while since I played that and I’m interested in seeing the new expansions.

Lol…pc players are having more fun modding the game as opposed to actually playing it, I could swear.

Mgsv is fun but the monotony sets in trying to do side ops as a block.
