Good morning everyone. It's WRUP time and I have to be kind of quick about it because I have a very busy day ahead and it starts pretty soon. Let's go right to it.
Intel's gaming GPU lineup is getting closer to a release time with things slated to begin dropping in second quarter. These are the Arc Alchemist GPUs and there have already been some indications that they'll rival the current generation from NVidia and AMD. According to PC Gamer there are going to be about eight different SKUs on the way, though most likely they won't all arrive at once. Maybe they'll take some pressure off of the industry shortages once shelves are populated. I don't know if that's true though because I don't really know if Intel is manufacturing their own silicon for Alchemist or if they're hiring TSMC or the like. Could just make things worse.
Here's probabaly a joke from Hard Drive about a battery powered PS5. This would have been fantastic as an April Fool's joke. Then again, in all honsety if they hadn't said it's going to use fifty double-A batteries and instead went with a power cell or high capacity laptop battery or something then maybe it wouldn't be so obviously a joke. I could see this being a thing.
Sorry I'm busy, what are we playing?
Greywolfe: i'm at the beginning of the end for chicory: the game has introduced a bunch of trials that i need to do. so that's something. i'm still also just bouncing between games, because nothing is sticking, otherwise :( - it's frustrating.
Scrooloose: Another busy weekend for me. Work starting early Saturday for a landscape and irrigation job that I've been working on for a while, beginning with a local native plant sale and a trip to the nursery to order a couple of flats of ground cover. Then I'll be ending the day with getting some plants in the ground and on the drip system. Sunday I'm going to take off work, but I think it might be my one day to go grocery shopping and hopefully get my front tires mounted now that I've got my front end aligned properly again. If I have time and energy left for gaming I'll be jumping into season 2 of Deep Rock Galactic, and I'll keep going in SnowRunner.
