Hey everyone, welcome to the tail end of 2021 and the holiday season, as the kids say. All of them. They say that.
All the digital store fronts have their winter sales on and I've grabbed a couple titles. Yesterday I picked up Warhammer 40,000: BattleSector and I've been dipping my toe in some turn-based tactical alien slaying. I was gifted a copy of Project WIngman and I've been dipping my other toe in some flight combat. Today I picked up Pathfinder: Kingmaker for free on EPIC Games Store and two of its free DLC so I might be soon dipping my other toe in some group RPG action. I'm not going into news this weekend because it's not time for news, it's time to gather with friends and family to enjoy and or argue about politics and stuff. It's like Thanksgiving two.
So from us here at Twinstiq to the one or two people that still read us here and aren't bots for boner pills or dating websites, happy holidays wherever you are. In another week we'll have made another trip around the sun together. For some it may be your last time around; you will be missed. For some it's your first trip around and we welcome you to the fold. Let's eat, let's drink, let's be safe and not make a pandemic any worse than it's already been. Let's put away our differences, be good to each other and enjoy some laughs and fun because that shit is vital, we need each other in this world.
What are we playing?
Trulegendkiller: Happy Holidays ya, Filthy Animals. Got a lot of a backlog, but I jumped back into Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. More Warframe too probably.
Greywolfe: merry christmas, everyone! so. i was going to play skully, but that game is bonkers difficult. and almost right out the gate. which means that i've fallen back on an older game that i know i like: cat quest. with some space quest 5 over the weekends and some greedfall inbetween.
AJ: I just acquired the iam8bit limited edition 30th Anniversary Super Nintendo version of Mega Man X, so that, and I also happen to have reliable intel that I will be receiving the Legend of Zelda Game & Watch system for X-mas, so definitely that as well. Scrooloose: Well as I said above, I'll be dipping toes into various situations involving aerial dogfights and space marines.
Yoda: Gonna be another book filled weekend this Christmas. Been getting back into Dota a lot again as of late though. And I'll have to actually play MGSV now at some point as well thanks to DR S
