In a recent press release, Blizzard Entertainment promised some fairly exciting news about the developers most popular game.
'Blizzard will be unveiling the next expansion for World of Warcraft at gamescom 2015 in Cologne, Germany. We hope you’ll join us at our booth in Hall 7 of the Koelnmesse to watch the announcement live on Thursday, August 6 at 18:00 CEST. An area has been set aside for media in our Heroes of the Storm gaming zone for a clearer view of the stage. Please access the area via the exit and be sure to get there early as space is limited. The reveal event will also be streamed live on www.blizzgc.com . See you at gamescom!'
Being more a fan of WOW lore than most of the game itself, I am personally hoping for a Naga-themed expansion. Especially if the announcement trailer is even half as cool as this scene:
