And if you're old enough to know who Charles Kuralt was are you sure you're in the right place? I mean I remember him so maybe you are. Maybe I'm not? Anyway, happy Sunday everyone. Let's play Helldivers 2 - I mean it's WRUP time and I definitely didn't forget that yesterday because I was playing Helldivers 2 before going to work, coming home and playing Helldivers 2. No sir, not at all. Steel trap, this memory of mine.
Speaking of Helldivers 2... Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game is playable now if you spent the extra money for early access and is fully released on the 5th of this very month of March, coming right up. I do plan on playing this as I've mentioned many times in the past I have a thousand hours in Snowrunner and I did play lot of Mudrunner before that, Expeditions looks like a great addition to the catalogue of off road exploration and challenge. I'm trying to stay away from videos and news about it but I have seen some people say it's feeling pretty good and it's even playable on Switch this time. I look forward to the new environments and tools available to help me get where I'm going as I drive around the countryside looking for things, I guess. There's a launch trailer out now.
In a weird turn of events there's a Turbokid video game coming out in April that looks like it could be pretty charming in its own right. I have to say that if it's anything like the movie it'll probably be pretty fun. I imagine it is like the movie since that's what it's based on. Though Nintendo did have the Addams Family game and man it was fun and hard AF but not at all like the TV show or films that it followed. So who knows? Anyway there's a demo out now and Rock Paper Shotgun has a little info here. Also, watch the movie. It's a very 80's feeling BMX post-apocalypse Mad Max thing and it's better than it has any right to be.
Alright, off I go. I don't really have much news this time. It's a been a busy week and I haven't paid a lot of attention to things between work and Helldiving. Luckily I don't have much going on today so I hope to get a good workout in since that part of my life has also been taking a back seat to work, less so the Helldiving. Greywolfe: mainframe defenders was not too bad as a tactics game. not enough plot for me, but if you're into that sort of thing, you may enjoy it. now moving onto [again], another world. let's see if i remember how to play it and complete it. [going to be sending in the machine for cleaning, so i wanted something small and short that i could beat in a weekend or so.]
AJ: I recently acquired a limited collector's edition reissue of the Sega Genesis classic, Truxton, and a custom reproduction of Phantasy Star IV (also for the Genesis), so I will likely be playing those this weekend.
