WRUP is late this week, sorry. Wasn’t home until today, so there’s that. Anyway, Star Wars is great, or at least good, depending on how high your expectations are. Go see it.
Can we leave it at that for the moment? We just recorded a 3 hour long podcast, my inspiration runs thin. Go watch that too, once it’s live. It was fun!
But what is everybody playing over the weekend?
- Greywolfe (Twitter, YouTube): hearthstone, trying to work out how to do a free deck for one of the bosses. it isn't working out real well. police quest 3 will wind down. inca will wind down. i'll try and plow through gateway, but i'm not so sure about that and i'm going to actually try picking up okami again.
- Scrooloose: Well I finished Just Cause 3, fully recommended by the way, so I installed Mad Max and have been really enjoying that. Sick with a fairly awful head cold so who knows how much I'll play this weekend, but it's been pretty good at occupying my time thus far.
- Thomas (Twitter): i should really finish TellTale's Game of Thrones before i'm gone for the rest of the year, but it kinda lost me halfway through. (UPDATE: Already done. Decent game, but I feel like the worst at playing games now…)
- Yoda0VGs (Twitter): Might hop back into some Pillars in between Battlefront 2 matches, aside from that, I'm seeing The Force Awakens at least twice this weekend, so maybe some first and second impressions pieces?? Well see, if I don't die from nerdgasm. Actually, my plot predictions article should be up by the time this posts, so go read that if you want to read what I think the film will be before I see it!
- Dante: Disgaea 5 with a side of Rocket League. Hearthstone dailies too.
I’ve been focusing on Battlefront this weekend due to the double XP. I really want to hit level 40 so I can buy and alien head or stormtrooper head, but right now I’m at 36 and I’m not sure if I’ll hit 4 levels today or not.
Last night I retreated back to Fallout 4 because I got tired of being blaster fodder and completed a loyalty type mission that Nick Valentine had given me. Next time I visit that world I’ll get back on the main quest.
My other recent diversion has been Final Fantasy VII on the Vita. I grabbed it on PC a while back, but I just couldn’t get back into it. I’m liking it much better on the Vita, so we’ll see if I complete my first revisit to that game since I played it on the PS1 or not.
