What's up everyone? Looks like Twinstiq went down for some reason or other over the holiday break, but we're back now. Speaking of Holidays, hopefully everyone out there had a great one. Mine was nice, lots of good food and family and my sister got me trip to Ireland. How cool is that? Anyway, it was a busy and fun time for us around here. Here's hoping you all shared a great experience doing whatever you did as well! And happy new year!
Now that we're back, what's everyone playing?
Greywolfe: hey, look at that! three weeks of ignoring my sierra games. that's awful. lol. but i've been digging into rogue legacy a bit, since my life situation requires a pick up and put down again game. it has problems. but it's an interesting design.
Andrew: So much Super Smash Bros Ultimate (it might just end up being my game of the year pick). Also most likely some Sushi Striker, Taiko Drum Master, and Octopath Traveler. (It was a very merry Switchmas this year!)
Scroo: Well I finally finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider and I rather liked it. Lots of Complaints came about for that title but I really enjoyed it. I also finished Subnautica, what an awesome game that is. I'll probably write about that some. I've picked up Ashen on Epic Games Store and that's super cool. It's not very exciting yet but I'm only just getting started and what beautiful art direction. I'm also nearly finished with Mutant Year Zero. It's a game that's way too hard for it's own good, but if you can stick it out, the end game balance is much better. In other news: I've got my new monitor coming so in a few days I'll hopefully be joining the high refresh rate 1440p club. Now I can stop spending money on this new PC build for a while.
