Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories was announced this week on the Natsume Inc. Twitter, but that isn't the most interesting piece of news in that tweet. No, the most interesting thing is that the game will be coming to Wii U, iOS, Android, and PC! Hit the break to hear my thoughts on this most intriguing of news pieces.
Now that all the posers have left and it's just us good friends, I have a confession: I freakin love me some Harvest Moon! There is something about the simplistic farming and NPC interaction that draws me in like magnet. It's the same reason I played Minecraft, because I used it as a farming simulator. Sadly, it was lacking in that respect and so it didn't stay in the rotation long.I've been waiting for what seems forever for a PC version of Harvest Moon, a reason I found Wild Season to have such potential. Now it looks like we'll be getting a proper PC game out of the deal, but the announcement of iOS and Android as well has me worried. Will it be a terrible cash store bananza? I hope not, and the fact that it's on the WiiU as well gives me hope that it'll be a true sequel, but only time will tell.
