Jason is coming to MKX. Certainly a decent fit for the franchise. But Jason isn’t alone. The “Mortal Kombat X Jason Voorhees Bundle” (official name, because SEO or whatever) will also include “the Horror Pack”, a set of three horror-themed skins for existing characters.
If you want to play as Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile, or Pharaoh Ermac, and you own the Kombat Pack (their fancy name for Season Pass, because they couldn’t fit a K in there), you can start downloading them tomorrow. Everyone else has to wait until Tuesday the 12th for some Friday the 13th action. The Bundle will cost $7.99, but both Jason and the Horror Pack are also available separately for $4.99 and $3.99 respectively.
Now this would be the place where we tell you what we thought about the game, but turns out we don’t actually have a review for it. So instead of telling you how amazing this game seems to be according to our Metareview, and linking you to the YouTube video for the DLC, I instead use this for passive aggressive pettifogging and complain about not getting a review copy for the team.
