Saturday Evening WRUP

Time for another question, since it worked so well last time.

If the PS4 – Neo is really a thing, will you trade your old PS4 for a new one? And if so, why?

What is everyone playing over the weekend:

  • Greywolfe (Twitter, YouTube): hearthstone!  last gvg pack before gvg goes away!  [and before i bail out of hearthstone!  bad blizzard, no biscuit.]  also, wow!  i'm going to spend my last ever time card on trying to bulldoze my way to sixty so i can close that chapter of my life for good.  i'm nearing the end of gateway and spore, so those games will have to rotate to something else, and, finally, more king's quest 6 silliness!
  • Yoda0VGs (Twitter): Well no betas for me this weekend. So comfort gaming it is! Hello Marvel Heroes, Dota2, and/or Dirty Bomb.
  • Thomas (Twitter): Played a ton of FIFA 16, since it recently joined the EA Access Vault and probably some more (new) Ratchet & Clank, which is just great, even if you’ve recently played the original release.
  • Andrew (12/12 Games): Finally picked up Mad Max (on sale). Will probably give that a try. Otherwise, will probably be playing more Skyrim.

I tried out the Mirror’s Edge beta on the Xbox this weekend a little bit. It’s fun, I expect I’ll pick up the full game, but not on day one, and probably on PC.

Played some more co-op Saint’s Row 4 on Friday night and had a blast. Spent Saturday juggling between Max Payne on the PS4 and Wolfenstein: New Order on the PC.

So far this Sunday I’ve finally gotten back to some Warzone in Halo 5, which was just as fun as I remembered. I think that’s going to go back to being my multiplayer game of choice over Battlefront. And once I get some of these household chores done I’ve been putting off, I’m going to play some more Max Payne. I hope they’ll bring Max Payne 2 to the PS4 as well.

about Max Payne 2: get it on the PC. It should run on a modern curling iron and also supports some fine mods

I have both older Max Payne games on Steam, but I remember the first one giving me a hard time running on Windows 7. I eventually broke out my old laptop and played it on Windows XP. I can’t recall having issues with Max 2 or not, and never tried any mods for either.
