E3 is right around the corner. MUCH HYPE! …not.
I mostly get excited about new hardware and the folks behind Uplay who shall not be named soured game announcements for me. Fallout is cool and all, but it’s a Bethesda RPG. I want to discover it through playing, not by watching it a year early.
Microsoft probably has nothing that really excites me (bit of irony: I’m sitting in a Halo 5 shirt while writing this), unless they announce a new Viva Pinata or a Steel Battalion that comes with a standalone controller.
Sony doesn’t have much to show besides 3rd party stuff, hinted by the fact that they will skip the Gamescom press conference.
EA will suck, the folks behind Uplay will most definitively suck. So what’s left? Nintendo, the last bastion of hope. Who would have guessed that two years back.
Ok, Bethesda probably has some more cool shit to show besides F4, and we will see some VR games. EA could show more Star Wars and Red Dead Redemption 2 might be a thing. I’m just pissed that I can’t plan my life around this year’s E3, despite now running Twinstiq.
Btw: The E3 Bingo cards are coming soon, so that’s a tradition we keep alive.

- Cody Hall (@Yoda0VGs): I will be taking a short break from the Witcher this weekend to play some much needed rounds of Mortal Kombat with the Girlfriend :D
- Greywolfe (@lostwolfe, YouTube): quest for glory 2 is done. just "post-game" stuff left to do [ie: where i do a thief run, for the most part] - the dig is completed with both endings and limbo is /probably/ going to wind down. so i have no idea of what i'm playing next. the big sierra list tells me what sierra game to go for next, but the other two...i'm at a loss :)
