Square Enix has released a trailer for the new mobile RPG, launching spring of 2015 in Japan on Android and iOS. Announced as Mevius when it was announced in Famitsu, the control and tactics-focused battle system are focused on providing an experience tailored to the platform.

Starting as an Onion Swordsman in the world of Paramitia, the protagonist Wal will be able to  take on different jobs which will evolve as the player accrues experience. Special abilities based on Final Fantasy's summons can be learned, and activated by Elements collected during battle.
