After Scroo's review of Nier: Automata I've finally decided to jump into it and even though I'm still at my first playthrough, it's already charming me to death. It's such a weird and unique experience from an atmosphere and story POV, yet offers a very solid gameplay experience (that's also an interesting and unique mix of JRPG, Shmup and spectacle fighter).
But what is everyone playing over the weekend?
Thomas: Nier!
Tru: Not that I have much time but I have gotten in more time with Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect: Andromeda
Scroo: Busy weekend here again so probably not much will be played. Probably a little Vermintide here and there.
Cody: Yeah not much vidya this weekend for me either.
AJ: The Disney Afternoon Collection. Also, if there's time, those games I said I was going to play last weekend but never did.
Spent a lot of time in Battlefield One on Friday night with friends and had a great time. Today I spent several hours in Mass Effect: Andromeda, and started Inside as well as This Is The Police. Sunday I expect it’ll pretty much be a mixture of those games, and I’ll probably step outside (gasp!) and wash my car as well.
Yoda says ‘This is the Police’ is a great game. I haven’t played it myself but hopefully you’ll enjoy it.
I’ve been spending a lot of time outside getting fire clearance started for the season. With all the dead and dying trees here ( I think the last count I saw, and this an old number, was 106 million with over 70 million in this county alone) it’s gonna be a hell of a fire season.
