Microsoft Talks Xbox One Power Consumption

A recent post from the National Resources Defense Council has drawn attention to the Xbox One's idle power consumption. In a blog post on Xbox.com, Microsoft details the effort they put into the console's efficiency, mentioning the console's energy saving mode as an alternative to the instant-on setting.
Microsoft claims that the " lower power state consumes less energy and can save customers an average of $6 to $15 in energy costs* per year in the U.S."
