Which hate you ask? Even though this thing only just got announced, some people are already complaining about the inclusion of women’s football. Who are those people? Don’t know, don’t care. Thing is: gender debate and video games don’t mix well at the moment. (Did they ever?) All one big pot of piss. So EA being “brave” enough to finally include women into their sports franchises is something worth applauding for.
So sad to see the misogynistic vitriol following @EASPORTSFIFA announce re. women in the game.We are better than this pic.twitter.com/RufIVjPJVW

However, if you are listening EA, this alone won’t fix the FIFA series. I ran into the same save game breaking bug in both FIFA 13 and 14. It’s probably in 15 too, since this franchise is basically 6 or 7 year old code that only gets updated for each release. The series has so many broken features, mechanics, bugs and what not, that the simple inclusion of women won’t make me buy it.
So you can shout misogynist all you want Mr. Moore, but from what I’ve seen, most people complaining about the inclusion of female teams, do base this on a valid point: Fix your broken game.
